Dylan Terman is a 2019 1B/RHP with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Westminster, CA who attends Los Alamitos. Medium frame with long limbs and a lean build. Frame projects to support additional size with strength. Primary first baseman with smooth paced, deliberate footwork while centering the baseball. Clean glove actions while funneling with developing fluidity while working through transition. Flashed quick, athletic actions while pivot to make throws to second base. Primarily released from a high three-quarters arm slot topping at 74 miles per hour across the infield. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance and high back elbow set. Hands work to contact on an inside path with a line drive plane through extension. Primarily worked to the opposite field gaps flashed good jump off the barrel when squared. Also pitched working exclusively from the stretch. Utilized lower half well showing drop and drive lower half actions. Lands at a slightly closed positing creating some cross fire from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashed some running action to arm side in the upper 70's to low 80's, topped at 82 miles per hour. Curveball had 10/5 shape with good spin and solid depth in the low 70's. Also showed a changeup offering that had some sink with run to arm side in the mid 70's. Consistently changed speeds and showed the feel for off speed to spot up in both positive and negative counts. Excellent student.
