Anthony Nunez is a 2019 MIF/IF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Miami Springs, FL who attends Miami Springs HS. Strong athletic build. Has outstanding arm strength on defense from a quick and compact arm action, very good carry, can throw from multiple arm slots, feet were balanced and smooth working through the ball and hands worked well. Switch-hitter, swing worked best from the right side, has a short inside swing with good hand quickness and a mid field to pull side line drive approach, left handed swing has similar bat speed but is very pull oriented with a longer path. Has never pitched at a PG event but would be interesting to see on the mound. Very good student.
