Cameron Vadnais is a 2019 SS/RHP, 2B with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from Sunrise, FL who attends Plantation. Small frame with an athletic build and square shoulders. Ran a 7.31 second 60-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary shortstop. Reads the ball well of the bat. Fields out front with soft hands and a quick transfer. Accurate throws with softer carry to the bag topping out at 77 miles per hour. Righthanded hitter with an upright and open stance and a high hand set. Smooth weight transfer into swing. Developing feel for the barrel. Righthanded pitcher with a simple side step delivery into a high leg kick. Lands in line with the plate with drive down the hill. Short compact arm action releasing from a three-quarters arm slot. Shows some arm quickness to pitches. Straight fastball topping out at 75 miles per hour. Curveball with an 11-to-5 shape with some tightness in spin and late bite. Excellent student as well.
