Garrett Stacker is a 2021 2B/RHP/OF with a 5-8 130 lb. frame from Nashville, TN who attends David Lipscomb Campus HS. Young, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 7.30 60-yard dash. Primary middle infielder, fields the ball out front with some bend to actions, extra steps leading into release with a short arm action on throws across, arm strength will continue to develop. Quick actions to the ball in the outfield, short steps moving towards the ball and fields out front, works through the ball well into release with a full arm action at release. Also pitched, worked exclusively off of his fastball in this outing, showing balance to delivery with a slight hip turn at top while working to a three-quarters release point with a compact arm stroke through the back. Fastball topped out at 72 mph and threw strikes. Righthanded hitter, begins with a high hand set and a back elbow at the plate; utilizes a high leg lift trigger for timing in the box. Occasionally gets to front side early but remains short to the ball with swing path and shows a line drive plane. Does a nice job of repeating swing and shows a feel for mechanics and the barrel through zone with line drive contact off bat and will continue to develop with additional strength.
