2024 Jr. National Showcase
Dannyel Almanzar is a 2026 SS/2B/3B with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends P27 Academy. Long athletic frame with broad shoulders and lots of physical projection remaining. 7.21 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, throws from a higher arm slot and gets on top of his throws well, gets good carry on his throws, moves well for his size but likely to end up at third base as he continues to fill out and get stronger. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight and wide stance, drops his back shoulder and works to lift the ball, steep and long swing, mid field to opposite field contact and showed his ability to create carry to all fields, power approach. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
