Casey Cook is a 2021 SS/RHP with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Chantilly, VA who attends Freedom. Medium square shouldered athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Left handed hitter, hits from a wide base with a slightly open start, has quick hands and develops present bat speed, mid field to pull contact, handles the barrel well and repeats his timing and mechanics, has a chance to add power as he matures physically. 7.03 runner, fields out front with smooth hands, has good feet moving to the ball and especially to his left, gets on top of his throws well with good carry. Solid all around player with plenty of projection remaining. Very good student, verbal commitment to North Carolina.
