Steven Yee is a 2019 RHP/ with a 5-8 165 lb. frame from Leawood, KS who attends Blue Valley. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional strength. Primary right handed pitcher with a simple side step delivery. Stays balanced at gather and worked in line to the plate through finish. Compact arm circle at take back and released from a high three-quarters arm slot. Aggressively attacked hitters with a fastball offering with the ability to work to each edge of the plate in the low to mid 80's, topped at 84 miles per hour. Utilized a hard slider that had good downward depth with late tilt in the upper 70's. Showed a deceptive arm action with a changeup offering that sat in the upper 70's. Right handed hitter with an upright, slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Coils hands at load and works to contact with rotational lower half actions. Direct hand path to contact with a level, line drive barrel plane through extension. Swung with intent and looked to drive the baseball with aggression. Consistently worked to the middle of the field producing some line drive between the gaps.
