Crockett Worthington is a 2018 RHP/1B, OF, 3B with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Owens Cross Rds, AL who attends Randolph High School. Extra-large frame, medium build, broad shoulders, athleticism, and room to continue to fill out physically and add strength. Posted a 7.34 time in the 60 yard dash. Primary right handed pitcher, started with a leg lift past belt, full hand raise over head, short stride, generated extension, full arm action through the back, and threw from an extended three quarter arm slot. Ball comes out clean with angle to the plate. Fastball worked 78-81 mph with occasional arm side life, but mostly true action. Best life when working on top of pitch. Breaking ball showed occasional slurve tendencies and worked for strikes. Up to 74 mph and showed ability to back foot with an inconsistent release. Secondary first basemen, utilized a lower arm slot with developing arm strength, and athletic actions through the ball. At the plate, started with slight squat, high hand set, low back elbow, and a toe tap timing mechanism. Developing weight shift with an all fields approach. Line drive swing plane with raw bat speed.
