Max Cuenca is a 2018 RHP/OF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Seattle, WA who attends Ballard HS. Tall and lean athletic build, projects well physically. High leg lift delivery, stays balanced over the rubber well, long and loose arm action from a 3/4's arm slot, accelerates hard to the plate with a high energy release. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, mostly straight. Curveball flashed depth and tight spin at times with a sweeping 10/4 shape. Developing change up. Will need to improve consistency in delivery and release point for better command, has the size, projectability and arm action to keep improving with adjustments and physical maturity. Good student.
