Jake Mastillo is a 2019 C/IF with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Roaring Brook Twp., PA who attends North Pocono High School. Has squared shoulders and an athletic look. From behind the plate, starts in a slight side saddle setup, lower half is incorporated on movements, gets on top of the baseball on throws and is accurate down to second base while popping as low as 2.07 seconds. From the infield, At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high hand set and narrow stance. Strides into contact, looks to match ball plane with hand path with fuller swing. Loud contact off the bat when barreled, interesting strength and power potential. Good student.
