Alec Eskenazi is a 2017 OF with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Plano, TX who attends Hebron High School. Lean, athletic frame with square shoulders and room to fill throughout body moving forward. Sound runner, posted a 6.77 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder, shows quick-twitch to actions, takes short steps moving towards the ball, fields the ball to side and works to a full and loose arm stroke, upright at release but shows accuracy to the bag with nice momentum and rhythm to actions. Righthanded hitter, begins with an even stance and a high back elbow in the box. Small leg lift trigger at start of swing, short path to the ball with some uphill to plane. Shows quickness to hands, mostly upper body incorporated into swing but able to generate carry to the middle of the field when barreled, contact approach, occasionally creates separation and shows a nice plane through the zone. Very good student.
