Jordan Edwards is a 2017 SS/2B with a 5-8 145 lb. frame from Carson, CA who attends Carson. Medium, athletic frame with slender present build; body projects well for increased strength. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.04 seconds. Sets up to hit from slightly crouched, open stance. Keeps hands inside the ball on inside-out path with line drive swing plane, showed ability to get the head out and drive the ball on a line at times. Stays committed to the middle of the field and is comfortable working to all fields when necessary. Worked out defensively in the infield, moves well to both sides and shows quality range, stays low and fields cleanly through the ball with funnel and good hands.
