Camden Angell is a 2018 OF/1B with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Hermitage, TN who attends Goodpasture Christian HS. Recorded a 7.46 second 60-yard dash time. Compact frame and build with good present athleticism. Primary outfielder who attacks the ball and has smooth fielding actions. Stays down on the ball well and has a quick release. Lower arm slot on throws with good carry across. Righthanded hitter with a crouched, slightly open stance. Rotational lower half and good hand speed through the swing. Direct hand path to contact and turns the barrel head over to pull aggressively. Slightly lofted swing plane and works gap to gap on a line. Present bat speed with strength. Squared contact and on time throughout. Simple swing start with an up the middle approach and a projectable swing. Tremendous student.
