Ben Anger is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-1 155 lb. frame from Clyde Hill, WA who attends Bellevue HS. Medium frame with slender, athletic build and good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.19 seconds. Primary pitcher, throws from high three quarters arm slot with loose arm action. Good balance throughout delivery. Fastball worked 77-79 MPH with solid arm side life, also showed curveball with 11/5 shape and good depth/bite, mixed in slider as well with similar shape, more sweep with more velocity. Did a good job throwing strikes. Sets up to hit from spread open stance with big leg lift, swings the bat hard with good intent and clean hand path. Stayed committed to the middle of the field and consistently hit line drives to all fields with developing power. Worked out in the infield, quick feet to and through the ball, fields cleanly and gets off quick release from multiple arm slots, showing good accuracy across the diamond up to 76 MPH. Very good student.
