Anthony Garcia is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Yabucoa, PR who attends International Baseball Academy. Stocky compact build with a strong lower half. High hand delivery with a compact high 3/4's arm slot, drifts down the mound with his lower half and his arm can be late at times. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, gets on hitters quickly when it's in the zone, tends to miss up with the pitch. Soft slider was his best pitch this outing, landed it well for strikes with good depth from the same arm slot as his fastball. Key to his future development will be improving his fastball command as the arm strength is there. Good student.
