Eric Padilla is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 195 lb. frame from Santa Ana, CA who attends Tustin HS. Athletic build with good present strength. Works from the stretch with a submarine arm action, short stride out front and an upright upper body at release. Shows good velocity for his arm slot at up to 82 mph and maintained his velocity well, fastball mostly straight despite arm slot, can get his fastball to the glove side with some angle.. Frisbee slider with some sweeping depth at times, tends to get under it for flatter shape. Next step for pitching style will be developing movement and sink on his fastball. Good student.
