2022 WWBA Workout Showcase (Oct 5)
Joey Calabretti is a 2023 3B/OF with a 6-3 215 lb. frame from Perkasie, PA who attends Pennridge. Big and strong build. 7.31 runner on defense. Primary third baseman on defense, has good fundamental footwork and gets behind the ball well, clean hands and gether, athletic enough to make throws on the move, gets on top of his throws well with some carry. Also worked out in the outfield and showed his arm strength well. Switch hitter, much more advanced on the right side at present. Hits from an upright stance with a hanging leg load into contact, gets his lower half coiled well and creates some bat speed, projects power in the future. Young actions from the left side. Good student, verbal commitment to Seton Hall.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
