Christopher Lopez is a 2019 OF/ with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Davie, FL who attends American Heritage HS. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to fill out upon adding more strength; recorded a 7.14 second 60-yard dash. Primary outfielder who moves well with athletic actions. Arm strength up to 77 mph across who works his feet well into the throw. Keeps throws low to the ground and fields the ball well out in front of his body. Righthanded hitter with a balanced stance. Starts slightly crouched who is looking to elevate the ball and drops his back shoulder to do so. Strides well into contact while remaining under control. Flashes bat speed through the point of extension to the pull side. Can create hard line drive contact to all fields and transfers his weight forward well. Good feel for the barrel of the bat and turns the barrel over to the pull side with ease. Excellent student.
