Gavin Jones is a 2022 2B/IF, OF with a 5-10 160 lb. frame from St Johns, FL who attends Atlantic Coast. Ran a 7.96 second 60 yard dash. A primary infielder with an athletic frame and room to fill, he was aggressive to the ball working through it, hands were firm out front receiving the ball, showed developing arm strength across the diamond, At the plate, a switch hitter he showed a narrow base from the right side of the plate with high hands, the bat path is quick into the zone. From the left side of the plate he starts with a wide base and high hands, the barrel path was smoother through the zone with extension through contact. Very good student.
