Cesar Valero is a 2019 SS/IF/OF with a 6-1 183 lb. frame from Calgary, AB who attends Foothills Composite. Very nice athletic broad shouldered build, good present strength with more to come. 6.91 runner, third base actions defensively, tends to stay back on the ball defensively, has good carry on his throws when his feet are set and comes over the top, has a quick and compact arm and gets rid of the ball quickly. Right handed hitter, straight stance, big barrel wrap to start his swing, aggressive shift into contact, long and strong swing with full extension, creates raw bat speed and is looking to drive the ball, may have to tone down his approach for higher level pitching but the raw bat speed and strength are there to hit. Good student, verbal commitment to Oregon State.
