Brandon Butterworth is a 2021 2B/SS, MIF with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Monroe, NC who attends Sun Valley. The primary infielder has a shorter athletic frame and lots of room to bulk. He ran a 7.17 in the sixty yard dash. Brandon has good athleticism on the infield, with quick feet and timing through the baseball. Smooth hands with the ability change arm angles and throw on the run. Very good laterally with arm strength to stay on the left side. The right-handed hitter has obvious twitch in his wrists using a small step and short hand load to start his process. He has a middle to opposite field approach with a flat path that produces line drive contact. Interesting athleticism. Very good student.
