Ethan Bearden is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Perry, GA who attends Perry. Flashed a medium to large frame with a lean, athletic build showing room to fill down the road. Ran a 6.96 second sixty yard dash. Primary Outfielder tracking the baseball aggressively off the bat. Clean gather and then slows momentum into throws. Relies heavily on upper half to generate carry to throws. Accurate around the bags with low and hard throws. Secondary Righthanded pitcher starting square before working into a belt high leg lift with a balanced look throughout. Drops the lift leg and then strides out. Shows a medium arm circle in the back before releasing from a high three-quarter arm slot. Pounded the stikezone early and often. Fastball showed sink to the arm side topping out at 76 MPH. Curveball showed big depth with 10-to-5 movement. Righthanded hitter starting with a balanced look while slightly spread out. Works into a small leg lift and stride. Longer barrel path with natural loft to the swing. Loud contact when squared up showing he could pull the baseball for power. Outstanding Student.
