2026 PG Preseason HS Prospect Showcase
Roen Kresak is a 2027 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Archer, FL who attends Buccholz. Medium prototypical middle infielder's build with some present strength to build on. 7.40 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, rounds the ball well and shows range and good routes, smooth actions to his left and coming in on the ball, fields the ball cleanly and makes accurate throws, has all the actions and played well in the games defensively. Right handed hitter, sets up in a straight stance with an inward knee raise timer, his short to the ball and long through it, has some explosion at contact and the ball comes off well, hits under control, Hit over Power at this point but has some power potential in the future. Also pitched, works from a simple stretch delivery with a compact 3/4's arm action and slot. Fastball sat in the upper 70's and had good running life and was thrown for strikes. Had a full arsenal of off-speed pitches that he commanded well. Knuckleball had some real dance to it. Will be able to get hitters out by mixing and filling up the zone. Outstanding student. Named to the PG Preseason High School Showcase Top Prospect List.
