Cody Boshell is a 2026 1B/LHP/OF with a 6-3 220 lb. frame from St Johns, FL who attends Bishop John J. Snyder. Big and strong athletic build. 6.67 runner in the sixty. Primary first baseman who also worked out in the outfield. Graded out higher as an outfielder at this event, moves to the ball well and fields it cleanly out front, long and loose arm stroke with nice arm speed, made low and accurate throws, aggressive overall actions on the grass. Left handed hitter, sets up in a straight upright stance with a simple load and trigger, long and strong swing, aggressive getting to his bat speed, power approach with extension out front, pull to mid field contact. Also pitched, big hip turn and coil over the rubber, opens early and lands open, over the top arm slot. Mid to upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph with some ride up in the zone, dropped his slot on his curveball and change up, change up was an effective pitch. Good student with a verbal commitment to Tennessee.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
