Jacob Syversen is a 2021 RHP/IF with a 6-3 180 lb. frame from Land O Lakes, FL who attends Bishop McLaughlin Catholic HS. Recorded a 7.40 second 60-yard dash time. Long and lean frame with plenty of physical projection. Primary righthanded pitcher with a loose delivery and a leg lift above the belt. Good drive off the back side with a longer arm circle in the back. Arm speed is quality with good sinking life down in the strike zone on the fastball topping out at 83 mph. Locates the breaking ball well to the arm side and shows very good arm side action on the changeup. Comfortable on the outer half with consistent command of the fastball and maintains velocity well. Arm strength plays from secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with a wide base and a level swing plane. Direct path to contact with a middle of the field approach. Good strength through extension and has a big leg lift trigger. Great student.
