Zale Lugo is a 2023 3B/1B, OF with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Winter Garden, FL who attends Ocoee. The primary infielder has a strong and athletic frame and ran a 7.85 in the sixty yard dash. High energy player that takes direct angles to ground balls while trusting his hands to work late in the timing. Consistent funnel and the throws were pretty accurate. Balanced throughout his approach. The right-hand hitter starts with high hands and loads slightly up to keep his hands above the ball. Wide base with a downward plane to the ball that that produced some low line drives with back spin. Stronger hands and some jump off the barrel when timed up. Good student.
