Luke Labbe is a 2026 C/RHP/SS with a 5-9 145 lb. frame from Saint Johns, FL who attends Bartram Trail. Taller frame with room to keep filling out moving forward. Ran a 7.25 60-yard dash. Primary catcher who worked through the throws and kept them on target. Produced a 74 mph velocity down to second with a 2.00 POP time. Also worked out as an infielder, staying back on the ball and was able to use snatchy hands to make throws across the diamond. A right-handed hitter, kept the hands set high and back elbow up. Kept a narrow base with the lower half spread. The hands are tight to the chest and stay loose through the swing. Produced solid contact back up the middle and was able to show some lift in the swing. He took to the mound as a right-handed pitcher with a compact arm path, showing good arm speed through his delivery. His fastball was up to 83 mph with some natural cut. It paired well with his curveball which had 12-6 shape to it. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
