Kamden (KJ) Scobey is a 2024 SS/RHP/UT with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Lakeland, FL who attends McKeel Academy of Technology. Very good athletic build with some present strength and room for more. Right handed hitter, hits from a pretty still start with a late hand takeaway, very quick hands, fires his hands hard and creates very good bat speed, ball comes off the barrel hard and loud, stays connected and into his lower half well. 6.91 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, rounds the ball well and has good lateral actions to the ball, nice and quick transfer and gets rid of the ball quickly, solid arm strength when he gets on top of his throws. Interesting athlete with some ceiling due to his hand speed. Good student, verbal commitment to Louisville.
