Josh Keevan is a 2021 LHP/OF with a 6-0 192 lb. frame from Holden, MA who attends Phillips Academy. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Big side step delivery with up tempo mechanics, has some deception to his mechanics, high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-80's fastball worked down in the strike zone well and was able to spot it to both sides of the plate with intent, gets some cutting action to his glove side at times. Threw a tight short slider with good power as his breaking ball, showed nice feel for his change up. Able to use all three of his pitches in the strike zone at different times during the count. Mature southpaw who should perform right away at the next level. Good overall athlete, ran a 6.88 sixty and showed his speed aggressively on the bases. Right handed hitter, has good timing at the plate, swings hard with a line drive swing and a middle of the field approach. Excellent student. Signed with U. Mass at Lowell.
