CJ Lattimore is a 2025 OF/RHP, MIF, UT with a 5-6 127 lb. frame from Clarksville, TN who attends Rossview. He ran a 8.24 second sixty. A primary outfielder with a young lean build. In the outfield he fields the ball out front off of the left foot working into a full arm action as he is able to carry momentum into his throws with a shoulder tilt as he gets a bit uphill at release. On the infield he shuffles to the ball showing best going left with a shorter arm action and high lead arm. On the mound he worked froth stretch only with an average arm action through the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot with a fastball that sat 64-66 mph while staying tall on the back side as eh comes down the hill. He mixed in a curveball for his secondary offering using eh two pitch mix to induce some weak contact. Right-handed hitter, starts narrow with an open base using a hanging leg lift to get back to even, he does a nice job impacting the baseball out front and showed level of comfort clearing the hips and driving the ball to the pull side with a projectable starting point to the swing. Very good student.
