Brandon Reynolds is a 2019 3B/RHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Monument, CO who attends Lewis-Palmer HS. Medium frame with a lean build. Frame projects for additional strength. Primary third baseman with athletic footwork while ranging for and surrounding the baseball. Funnels baseball out front and worked through exchange with fluidity. Primarily released from a three-quarters slot but flashed the ability to throw with accuracy while on the run as well, topped at 80 miles per hour. Also worked out from the outfield showing aggressive footwork while closing to the baseball. Clean glove actions at pick up and maintained momentum towards the bag. Throws generated on line carry to the bag topping at 82 miles per hour. Right handed hitter, shifts into contact well with lower half. Looked to create bat speed by throwing barrel head to contact. Flashed some jump off the barrel when squared while employing a mid field to pull side approach. Also pitched working exclusively from the stretch. Starts closed and displayed a loose arm circle at take back. Displayed good arm speed through extension from a high three-quarters slot with a fastball offering that created good arm side run in the upper 70's, topped at 80 miles per hour. Curveball had 12/6 shape with good spin and late depth in the low 70's. Showed good fell for each offering and consistently challenged hitters to the bottom of the zone. Good student.
