Aiden Pollock is a 2023 OF/RHP, MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Bishop Gorman. Recorded a 7.02 second sixty-yard dash time. Long, lean frame with present athleticism and plenty of time to add strength. Primary outfielder with aggressive actions into the fielding process, a clean gather off his front foot and maintains momentum into an over-the-top arm slot. Displayed big arm strength up to 92 mph during outfield drills. Secondary right-handed pitcher that uses a long side-step into a slightly coiled leg lift, while incorporating drop and drive lower half mechanics. Fastball worked in the low-80s for most of his outing, topping out at 84 mph from a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball flashes some sink to the bottom of the zone and he misses plenty of bats with it, mixed in hard breaking ball that flashed late, sharp bite to it. Took part in the infield portion of the defensive workout as well; showing a developing defensive skill set and arm strength up to 85 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that showed a loose, extended swing with tons of present bat speed and immense power potential as he continues to fill out. Simple, repeatable swing path with consistent ability to impact the baseball all-over the field, shows adjustability with his barrel and good strength at impact. Intriguing, multi-faceted prospect with loads of upside on both sides of the ball. Named to the 2021 Perfect Game Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
