Malcolm Robinson is a 2023 2B/OF with a 5-9 190 lb. frame from Snellville, GA who attends Shiloh. Medium frame with a stocky type build showing strength throughout the frame. Ran a 7.00 second sixty yard dash. Primary Second Baseman, proving to have some lateral range as he worked into the baseball with fluid movements. Confident with the glove as he scoops it up before working into transfers. Winds up a bit as he releases with intent. Accurate across the diamond as he threw it 75 mph during drills. Feel for the position showing. Secondary Outfielder, sitting back on the baseball a bit as he makes sure to take a clean route. Gathers it up to the side and then works into release. Longer arm action as he looked to carry throws to the bag. Right-Handed Hitter, balanced pre-pitch actions as he works into stride while landing in a good hitting position. Fires the hands and stays fluid showing slight lift in the swing. Found the barrel often and proved to have some gap to gap power. Stays inside the baseball as he drove it the other way with outer half pitches. Good Student.
