Ryan Mihlebach is a 2018 1B/RHP, OF with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from Clarksboro, NJ who attends Gloucester County Institute of Technology. Medium frame with solid present build; good strength present with projection remaining as well. Ran 40 yard dash in 5.24 seconds. Sets up to hit from narrow-based stance with low hand set, simple leg lift trigger, shows good stride out and gets off backside efficiently. Smooth stroke with good repeatability, found the barrel consistently with quality bat speed and good strength off. Worked out in a few spots. Shows solid footwork both on and off the bag at 1st base, good accuracy to both 2nd and 3rd base. Fields cleanly in the outfield and does a good job working through the ball, repeats mechanics well, gets on top of the ball with shorter arm stroke and throws accurately, clocked up to 78 MPH. Pitched as well, short leg lift into delivery with slight hip coil, short/hooked arm action through the back, compact delivery and arm stroke overall. Fastball worked from 73-75 MPH with short arm side run, flashed curveball with 11/5 shape and short depth. Could stand to incorporate lower half more into delivery. Good student.
