Jean Paul Espinosa is a 2025 SS/2B/OF with a 5-7 138 lb. frame from Orange Park, FL who attends Trinity Christian Academy. Slender young athletic build. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder who shows good athleticism and body life moving to the ball, good lower half quickness and balance, flows well through the ball and can make plays on the move, higher arm slot with developing arm strength, makes accurate throws. Also played some outfield with similar athletic actions and the same high arm slot. Right handed hitter, hits from a slightly open stance with an early stride into contact and a still hand start, has a short slashing swing with good barrel control, mostly mid field to opposite field contact. Good student.
