Esteban Rodriguez is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-0 210 lb. frame from Doral, FL who attends Belen Jesuit Prep. Compact frame, bigger build with some strength. Right-handed pitcher only, big side step but gets back over the mound well, leg left to slightly above the belt with a small turn back towards second, full arm circle in the back to a high three-quarters slot, gets some angle on the release, pounds the glove side with the fastball clocked up to 87 mph, strong feel for a downer curveball out of 12 to 6 shape with tight spin, can land it for strikes consistently or tunnel it down in the zone for swing and miss, really held velocity at 86-87 mph across three innings and in the stretch as well, overall nice two-pitch mix with upside. Outstanding student. Named to 2020 Sunshine East Showcase Top Prospect List.
