Ryan Jordan is a 2022 SS/IF, OF with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from Oak Park, CA who attends William Howard Taft. Recorded a 7.33 second sixty-yard dash time. Large, compact frame with present lower half strength and room to physically mature. Primary infielder with deliberate footwork throughout the fielding process. Displayed third baseman profile with reactionary movements from side-to-side, a quick transfer and accurate throws across the diamond. Recorded arm strength up to 70 mph during drills and showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles when necessary. Secondary outfielder with aggressive actions into the fielding process, fields slightly off to the side and transitions smoothly into release. Recorded arm strength up to 74 mph during drills. Right-handed hitter that hits from an even stance with a high hand set and big leg lift trigger for timing. Incorporates deep hand load and rotational lower half to create torque into launch. Whole field approach with line drive path and strength through impact. Displayed burgeoning power potential with some lift and carry. Solid overall prospect with upside and power potential at the plate, skill set fits third base profile better at present. Excellent Student.
