Alex Hunt is a 2018 3B/IF, 2B with a 6-1 180 lb. frame from Davenport, IA who attends Davenport West. Large frame with long limbs and an athletic build. Ran a 7.89 sixty-yard dash. Primary third baseman with compact, smooth paced footwork while surrounding the baseball. Flashed smooth strides while ranging to glove side. Clean glove actions while funneling the baseball and released form a compact three-quarters arm slot. Topped at 76 miles per hour across the infield generating accurate carry to the bag. Right handed hitter with a spread, slightly open stance. Stays balanced throughout with rotational lower half actions. Direct, compact line drive plane through extension. Will work through extension on an uphill plane when connecting with baseball out front. Primarily utilized a mid field approach with the ability to drive the ball through each outfield gap when on time and squared. Excellent student.
