Kyler Heyne is a 2020 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-1 186 lb. frame from Frisco, TX who attends Reedy. Ran a 7.40 second sixty-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with an athletic frame and physical lower half. Has an easy and repeatable delivery, starting from the windup with a small side step into a belt high leg lift. Has clean drop and drive actions down the mound, creating good linear direction, leading to present extension over the front side at foot strike. Has a short and compact arm stroke, with a clean arm path and three-quarter slot. Shows the ability to locate the fastball to both sides of the plate at 80-to-85 miles per hour, flashing some natural cut at times. Slider is the best secondary pitch currently, showing 10-4 shape and sharp break. Was at its best at 73-to-75 miles per hour. Secondary infielder that rounds the ball well with a deeper funnel. Has good timing through the fielding actions, carrying solid momentum through the fielding process and into throws. Has present strength with accurate throws across the diamond at 85 miles per hour. Right-handed hitter that starts from a slightly open stance, with a leg kick trigger. Makes consistent, solid contact out front, showing some pop to the pull side with a clean shift to contact.
