Bryce Wells is a 2025 C/OF with a 6-1 220 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Smithson Valley. Primary catcher with a good athletic build behind the dish with big square shoulders. Made all throws with strength and accuracy behind them. Throws had good carry to the bag. Pops up quick out of the crouch and gains some ground through the plate. Has a quick transfer and release with shorter arm actions. Ran a 6.93 sixty. Right-handed hitter with good bat speed. Starts out slightly open and comes off the barrel hard. Sprayed liners all over the field including a homerun the other way. Uses a medium stride for timing and weight transfer. Ball gets impacted hard when squared and explodes off the barrel. Power to all fields. Excellent student. Named to the HS All-State Select Championship Top Prospect List.
