2025 PG National Academic Showcase (Tues-Wed)
Steele Lickliter is a 2026 C/RHP/IF with a 6-2 180 lb. frame from Ponte Vedra Beach, FL who attends Ponte Vedra. Big, strong, athletic build running a 7.39 60-yard dash. Primarily catcher on defense, sets up in a narrow and staggered stance with a clean exchange, can drive into his throws better with his lower half, received and blocked well in the games and made accurate throws. Also worked out in the outfiled fields ball off he glove side foot and comes through with a full crow-hop into the throw. Decent arm from the outfield with a quick arm path. Hits from both sides of the plate, starts open, upright, with his hands high. Good, smooth swing from both sides of the dish, bit better bat speed from the right side. During the game, Lickliter made a couple plays at third base with accurate throws across the diamond to show his defensive versatility. Excellent student.
