Madox Land is a 2025 SS/C/IF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Cantonment, FL who attends J. M. Tate. Lean athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 7.16 runner in the sixty. Primary middle infielder on defense, has quick feet and shows good lateral range, takes efficient angles to the ball, fields the ball cleanly out front, has body control on the move, makes accurate throws with some carry, projects well on defense. Switch-hitter at the plate, pretty equal skills and bat speed from both sides of the plate, bit more oven and directional from the right side, turns his hips well from both sides and has pull line drive swing approach with some bat speed. Also pitched, has a high 3/4's arm slot with good arm speed and looseness, works from a full delivery with a balanced belt high leg raise. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, had consistent cutting action that was late and nasty at times, over matched some hitters with the life on his fastball. Slider had similar action with less velocity and was just as effective. Confident player who looks to be the type to play above his tools. Good student. Named to the National Underclass Main Event Top Prospect List.
