Jared Pit is a 2019 1B/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Whitefish Bay, WI who attends Whitefish Bay. Large frame with broad shoulders and present strength. Ran a 7.42 sixty-yard dash. Primary first baseman with clean actions glove actions and footwork while centering the baseball. Deliberate, smooth paced feet while pivoting to second base. Released from a compact, low three-quarters arm slot creating some carry with accuracy to the bag. Right handed hitter with a crouched, slightly open stance and simple leg lift trigger. Works to a taller front side at contact with linear lower half actions. Loose, extended path to contact with an uphill plane through extension. Primarily worked to the middle of the field, but flashed to ability to control barrel head and work to the opposite field gap as well. Tools will continue to develop with maturity and repetition. Very good student as well.
