Ty Harpring is a 2025 3B/RHP with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Roswell, GA who attends Blessed Trinity Cath. A taller frame with some strength showing. Ran a 7.32 60-yard dash. He's a primary third baseman who had some whip to his throws with a higher slot on throws across the field. He used longer levers in his lower half to get into a position to field the ball and make throws across the diamond at 82 mph across. A right-handed hitter with a wider base and his hands tucked underneath. The hands drift back and then work direct through the zone. Gets some good impact off the barrel, showing some juice during his round of BP. Posted an 88 mph exit velocity. Also jumped on the mound as a right-handed pitcher where he worked 79-81 mph, getting up to 83 mph. He spun the heater up to 2,547 RPMs. He showed a breaking ball in the upper-60s, spinning it up 2,096 RPMs. He uses a slight side step with a quick leg lift to the belt. Pretty compact actions with the ball staying behind his body on the arm swing. His fastball had some carry with good spin, living up in the zone, and helping him add two punchouts over his inning of work. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
