Jaden Barfield is a 2024 1B/LHP, OF with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Pearland, TX who attends Pearland. Ran a 8.06 60 yard dash. On the mound, has smooth mechanics with a controlled delivery. Short arm circle with above average arm speed. Solid body control and knowledge of the zone. His fastball was up to 83 MPH with life to it. Also showed off a solid curveball at 71 MPH that had 11/5 shape and sharp bite to it. Overall great feel for pitching. Good glove actions at first base. At the plate, likes to go opposite field often in BP. Good barrel control and when he connects well the ball has good carry. His highest exit velocity was 78 MPH. He was named to the Sunshine Texas 18u Top Prospects' List.
