Jonathan Griggs is a 2026 C/1B/IF with a 5-10 210 lb. frame from Atlanta, GA who attends The Walker. Strong and compact catcher's build. 7.30 runner in the sixty. Comes out of his crouch explosively behind the plate, has lower half twitch, stays directional well in his throws, nice arm strength and makes accurate throws while repeating his footwork well. Has all the tools and skills to continue to excel defensively. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight stance with a big toe tap trigger, has some hand strength and can impact the ball, line drive/all fields approach, should have the strength to continue to develop his power in the future.
