Brayden Charness is a 2026 LHP/OF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Calabasas, CA who attends Undecided. Medium athletic build. Throws from an extended 3/4's arm slot, repeats his delivery very well, smooth and easy mechanics that show his athleticism. Fastball topped out at 83 mph, moves it side to side at the bottom of the zone with intent, gets nice arm side run at times and can also cut the ball, very polished with his fastball feel and locations. Primary fastball pitcher this outing but didn't need anything else, flashed a slider and change up. Dominant performance. Left handed hitter, long and extended swing from an open stance, long stride into contact, has some looseness to his wrists out front, natural loft and could develop some power when he gets stronger. Excellent student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
