Brandon Ott is a 2027 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-3 150 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Desmet. A taller and longer frame with a higher-set waist. Larger build. Ran a 7.62 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher who had a shorter stride working downhill, uncoiling the lower half for a fluid move down the slope. He had a big leg kick up around the letters. He pitched from a three-quarters arm slot with good arm speed and some whip to ti through release. He worked low & away to righties during his bullpen. Fastball was up to 80 mph and located well arm-side. He showed some sink to it on occasion. He also showed a changeup with fade to it. He also showed a slider with good spin and a shorter break with sweep. Located on the edges well. A left-handed hitter who has an upright stance, taller, with some impact through contact. He had a pull-side approach, with open feet and a leg lift trigger working inward to contact. He turns well and showed off some bat speed through the zone. Best contact came when he was able to extend out in front and work pull-side. He was able to show some thump off the barrel during his round of BP swings. He produced an 80 mph exit velocity as well. Worked out as an outfielder who moved well with direct feet to the ball. He showed a longer arm action through release with a lower slot and accurate throws to the bag, coming out at 80 mph. He fields it off the front foot and had a quicker arm stroke with length to it. He also worked out as a first baseman. Showed off accurate feeds with good movement around the bag. He moved well laterally and had a feel for the glovework. Threw 76 mph from first base with a feel for the actions.
