Benjamin Lea is a 2021 OF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends George Ranch. Large frame with good strength to build. Hits from crouched and open-based stance, loads back into hips, toe tap trigger, gets barred a bit into load, good strength at contact, middle-field approach, shows good strength into opposite field gap, projects well for power. Worked out in the outfield, waits back on the ball a bit, works through fielding with methodical pace, lower slot release on throws, clocked up to 75 mph on throws. Very good student.
