2022 National Indoor Showcase (Saturday)
Jake McGhee is a 2024 OF/LHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Fenton, MO who attends Christian Brothers College. Recorded a 6.73 second sixty yard dash time, showcasing great speed. Medium frame with a strong and athletic build. Only worked out from the outfield at this event, works through the ball well and carries his momentum towards the target. Smooth and fluid actions overall with soft hands. Showed quick feet with good balance and athleticism, the arm strength was loud as he recorded throws at 92 mph. Left-handed hitter with a semi-crouch and slightly open stance, utilizes a simple stride trigger. Stays compact with his hands and barrel turn, gets the barrel out front consistently. Displayed solid bat speed with impact to both gaps, showed he could elevate consistently and has feel for the barrel. Good-looking swing with a solid round of BP. Excellent student. Missouri commit. Named to the 2022 National Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
